Coaching
Philosophy:
- I believe that the most successful players
and teams execute the small details. When you have practiced the
fundamentals, then in the game you can simply react without thinking.
This allows you to relax and the game slows down, enabling you
to perform the more complicated skills. As a coach, my responsibility
is not only to teach players the proper technique, it is also
to help them develop body awareness, or the ability to know what
the proper technique feels like. Once a player has this body awareness
and a good understanding of what they want to do, they can become
their own coach and fix problems even when the coach is not around
